EAST OF ENGLAND AMBULANCE SERVICE

Heybridge is just one of 197 First Responder Groups in the east of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. These Groups attend about 1400 calls in a typical month, of which about 55% are category A.

The Essex Locality accounts for 69 of these Groups, attending around 360 calls each month. A high proportion of patients are reached within the target time of 8 minutes. A patients survey gave First Responders a high rating in the great majority of cases.
